R.I. District 3201

The Rotary District 3201 was formed in July 2008 as a multi-generation successor of District 89 (comprising of Afganistan, Burma, Ceylon and India) formed in 1937-38, and an immediate successor of District 3200 formed in 1991-92. The new district has 109 Clubs and a membership strength of 4131 Rotarians.

The Clubs are spread over part of the southern Indian states of Kerala and Tamilnadu. The larger cities in our RI District are Cochin and Coimbatore. A large majority of the Clubs have weekly tea meetings.

Rtn MPHF G Viswanathan of Rotary Club of Cochin East is the current District Governor of the new district.
